MaxFactor Pan Cake Foundation

Dec 7, 2013

So yesterday I went out to Priceline and came across this foundation. Hmm....Pan Cake...what an unusual name! I've heard of these foundations before and did some research on them. They were used in the old-school movie industry because it made your skin look great on camera. So of course, I had to buy it.

$15 RRP. STICKY TAPE SO INFURIATING!!!

$6.99 RRP. My other purchase

Because this foundation is water-activated, there are two ways of activating the foundation.
1. Spray the Pan Cake with water and use a sponge.
2. Dampen your sponge and swirl that into the Pan Cake.

In the shade True Beige.

So this is what it looks like inside. It basically looks like a compact powder.
Apparently this product is discontinued in the USA but it still sells here in Australian Drugstores which is a bit peculiar...

You should apply this product in thin layers, building up the coverage until it gives you the desired affect. One or two thin layers should give you light coverage and it is buildable to a full coverage. When you first apply the foundation it is quite drying to your skin, so apply moisturiser beforehand, but after an hour (after your skin produces oils) it feels quite comfortable. This product may not be suitable for those with super dry skin.

I will be using this product all day today and I will come back and tell you guys how it went!
