Cool hourglass shape!
Hey!! So today I'll be reviewing the Rimmel Scandaleyes Retro Glam Mascara. I bought this mascara around a month or two ago (you can find my post about it here) and today I'm finally reviewing it!

Product Description (via Rimmel London Website):
Bold, wide-eyed false lash look.
Hour-glass brush shaped to the lash line to plump lashes, fanning them up and out for bold, wide-eyed volume.
Coats lashes individually for a big, false lash look in one simple stroke. No clumps!

I am definitely not a fan of the packaging! I don't really like the Rimmel/Maybelline/Covergirl Mascara Packaging as I find it really bulky and not too aesthetically pleasing unlike the Revlon and L'Oreal Mascaras. But, the packaging doesn't bother me, as long as the product inside is good!
The formulation of this mascara is quite a wet one, similar to the Maybelline Falsies, which I really like! I prefer wet mascara's over dry ones. When it dries, it doesn't feel stiff at all, and it feels more flexible which is great!
The Hourglass brush is meant to give your eyelashes a 'bold, wide-eyed false lash look', but to be totally honest I think it actually gives more of a natural length to the lashes, with not much volume.
I also find the brush hard to use on my bottom eyelashes, and on the inner corners of my top eyelashes. I think the brush shape is quite unique and works well to give me a clump-free, lengthened lash look.

Overall, I think this mascara is good for a natural, fluttery eyelash look. It definitely doesn't add any volume, but looks great nonetheless.
