Review | Chi Chi Glamorous Nudes Palette

Aug 14, 2014

Hey there!
I'm here today with a seriously exciting post; something that most Australians would be excited about to be quite 100% honest. A REVIEW OF THE CHI CHI NUDES PALETTTE!!
For those of you who are young, haven't got a job and feel bad spending your parents' money, here is the review for you.
It is said that the Chi Chi Glamorous Nudes Palette is a dupe of the Naked Palette! I haven't tried the Naked Palette, but I'm pretty excited to see if the Chi Chi Nude Palette lives up to my expectations! If you guys want to see how well this gets on, please keep on reading.
(p.s. thankyou to my bae Yujin for getting this for me as a late birthday present!)

The packaging of the Palette is fairly simple. It comes in a cardboard box with a little peep-hole type thing which allows you to see the colours of the eyeshadows. When you take the palette out of the box, it is a slim, plastic palette which would fit neatly into a handbag or a large clutch. Although the palette is plastic, it doesn't feel flimsy or cheap! It's a wonderful sturdy plastic that feels more chic to be honest.

Ahh sorry for those with OCD!! The eyeshadow applicators are annoying the hell out of me right now! They didn't come like that btw :) They were perfectly symmetrical.

There are a total of 12 eyeshadow shades, with a total weight of 16g.
[ Sorry for not having any swatches by the way! :( ]
The eyeshadows are beautifully buttery and amazing to blend! The pigmentation is also impeccable; it's better than most Revlon eyeshadows I have! (sorry Revlon)
I don't have the Naked palette so unfortunately I cannot compare them, but I will give you a quick 'lil description about all of them.
---------------------------------------
Virgin Dupe
This is a satin-finish beige colour, with subtle shimmer. It would be great for use as a base colour, an inner corner highlight or a brow bone highlight.
Sin Dupe
A really nice frosty, champagne colour with hints of pink which has quite a bit of shimmer in it.
Naked Dupe
A medium dark beige/brown that is fully matte and an excellent shade for use on the crease (for those with a lighter skin tone unlike myself).
Sidecar Dupe
The Chi Chi Sidecar Dupe is a bronze-y brown colour with shimmer.
Buck Dupe
A matte darker brown shade that would be perfect for contouring in the crease/hollow of your eye and on the face as well!
Halfbaked Dupe
(one of my favourite shades from this palette!) A warm-toned golden colour.
Smog Dupe
A darker and slightly warmer version of Sidecar.
Darkhorse Dupe
A dark forest-green toned eyeshadow that's slightly brown.
Toasted Dupe
An almost rose-gold eyeshadow.
Hustle Dupe
A chocolate brown with slight purple tones.
Creep Dupe
A dark blue (almost black) eyeshadow.
Gunmetal Dupe
A navy-blue silvery shade that is slightly lighter than Creep.
